Michelle Murray performs our National Anthem LIVE on National Television at the IZOD INDYCAR Series, Kentucky Indy 300 at the Kentucky Speedway in Sparta, Kentucky. While at the track Michelle made several appearances, including Sam Schmidt Paralysis Foundations, "Day at the Races", hosted by Andretti Autosport and two guest appearances at the INDYCAR Fan Zone. It was one of the most exciting races of the season with Ed Carpenter edging out Dario Franchitti by 0.0098 of a second after a thrilling battle over the final twenty laps to claim his first IZOD INDYCAR victory! Sam Schmidt Motorsports also claimed a record fifth Firestone Firehawk Cup as Josef Newgarden became the 2011 Firestone INDY LIGHT Season Champion.
